November/December Reflection - Glogster

My favorite project/assignment in December would be the Glogster that we created about our life. The project used creativity, having to get pictures and choosing a cool background, communication, getting what your life means to others perception, and information fluency, getting your main points across. It also used critical thinking, where to put things on the poster, and decision making, what colors and things to use.

I learned from this project how to put my life onto a piece of paper, or the internet. I am most proud of the final outcome and the way that it looks. I am most happy, though with the way that it turned out and the colors of the background, it looks nice.

October Reflection- Coffin Races Flyer in Word

My favorite project/assignment in the month of October was the Coffin Races Flyer in Word. The project has Creativity, having to create the document in a fun way, Communication, having to get the main ideas across, and Information Fluency, having the correct information so people don't get confused. The problem also has Critical Thinking, having to manipulate Word, Problem Solving, having to fit all of the information onto one page of paper, and Digital Citizenship, making sure that the words and picture are not rude or offensive.

I learned that communicating an idea to the public can be done not on the computer from this project. I am most proud of the way that the poster looked in the end and the time and effort that I put into it. I am very happy with my work because of the final result. of the project.

August and September Reflection- Parthanon

My actual Parthenon

My favorite unit from August or September would be the Parthenon project that we did at the end of August and early September. The Parthenon incorporates creativity, having to actually construct the Parthenon, research fluency, being able to watch the atomic learning videos without distraction. It also used critical thinking, having to use the tool to construct the building and problem solving, constructing the building in the mount of time given.

I learned how to use Google Sketch Up, and how to think outside of the box when it comes to creating 3D objects on the computer. I am most proud of the final result of the product and how good that it looked. I am happy with my work because it looks neat and professional the way that it should be.

Colorado Texting Article

A new era has fallen over Colorado with a new ban on texting while behind the wheel of a car. A believe that the ;aw is a good thing for Colorado safety wise for other drivers, however, it is really difficult for police officers to enforce the law. Therefore, if we all just put down or cell phones until we get from point A to point B, then we can all accomplish being safe drivers.
